Puregold Wins Dual Honors at 2025 Retail Asia Awards

Puregold Price Club Inc. acknowledged for innovation and leadership in the Philippine retail sector.
Puregold Price Club Inc. achieved significant recognition at the 2025 Retail Asia Awards, securing two prestigious accolades for its contributions to the retail industry in the Philippines.

The awards ceremony took place on June 8, 2025, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.

The company was awarded 'Hypermarket of the Year (Philippines)' and 'Integrated Campaign of the Year (Philippines)'.

The recognition for Hypermarket of the Year highlights Puregold's strategic vision and agility in navigating challenging market conditions, culminating in a remarkable profit exceeding ₱10 billion for the fiscal year 2024. With over 700 stores across the nation, Puregold's portfolio includes the S&R Clubs and various quick-service restaurants, bolstering its position as a leading retail player in the country.

The 'Integrated Campaign of the Year' accolade was awarded to Puregold for its successful 'Nasa Atin ang Panalo' campaign, which effectively engaged a younger demographic.

This initiative involved partnerships with well-known Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists, including BINI, Flow G, SB19, and SunKissed Lola.

The campaign's success was further demonstrated by a sold-out thanksgiving concert at the Araneta Coliseum, celebrating its enthusiastic reception.

Vincent Co, President of Puregold, remarked on the significance of these awards, stating that they motivate the company to enhance the shopping experience for its customers and loyal members.

As Puregold looks to the future, it aims to expand its footprint in the Philippines with plans for new store openings throughout 2025. In the first quarter of the year, the company reported a profit of over ₱2.64 billion, reflecting a 6.5 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

Additionally, Puregold is set to host 'OPM Con 2025', featuring a diverse lineup of artists, scheduled for July 5 at the Philippine Arena, reinforcing its commitment to engaging with local music and culture.
