Erwin Tulfo Leads Latest Senate Race Survey Ahead of 2024 Elections

With significant voter preference, Tulfo solidifies his position as a frontrunner in the upcoming senatorial election.
As the Philippine elections approach, Erwin Tulfo maintains his status as a leading senatorial candidate according to recent survey findings.

Five days prior to the elections scheduled for May 12, Tulfo achieved a notable 52.7% in voting preference and 98% awareness, positioning him among the top contenders in the latest Tugon ng Masa Survey conducted by OCTA Research from April 20 to 24. This consistent performance places him in Rank 1-2, highlighting his sustained popularity since 2024.

Tulfo's lead reflects a 10.4% advantage over his nearest competitor, underscoring his strong voter appeal.

Additionally, fellow candidates from his coalition, Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, also appear to be gaining traction, indicating solid support for the administration's senatorial slate.

Expressing gratitude to his supporters, Tulfo emphasized the importance of their ongoing backing since the inception of his campaign.

He acknowledged the necessity to maximize the remaining days of campaigning to communicate his proposed platforms effectively.

“Together with the Alyansa, we will continue to engage with the public to share our unified goals for the nation,” Tulfo remarked.

If elected, Tulfo has indicated several legislative priorities, including the proposed Barangay Officials and Workers’ Compensation Act, amendments to the Rice Tariffication Law, the OFW Pension Act, and the Zero Hospital Billing for OFWs Act, among other initiatives.

Tulfo's positioning as a strong candidate is further reinforced by favorable results from other well-known polling organizations such as WR Numero, Pulse Asia, and Social Weather Stations, which have similarly reflected his prominent standing in the upcoming electoral contest.
