In Bacolod City, the City Board of Canvassers, chaired by Acting Bacolod election officer Revo Sorbito, proclaimed the election results at approximately 3:20 a.m. on May 13. Incumbent Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Benitez was declared the winning congressman, while Congressman Greg Gasataya was proclaimed mayor.

Davao City showcased the continuing political influence of the Duterte family, with five family members contesting and leading in various local positions according to partial results from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Soco's election complements the continued political presence of established local leaders, including the newly emphasized role for Garcia, wife of Congress member Pablo John Garcia.

Notably, gubernatorial candidate Pam Baricuatro achieved a significant upset against five-time incumbent Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, garnering 1,107,924 votes compared to Garcia's 765,051, as confirmed during a proclamation ceremony held on May 13.
