Bam Aquino Secures Endorsements from Political and Celebrity Figures Ahead of Elections

Former senator gains significant backing from Sulu governor and various Filipino celebrities as campaign intensifies.
As the Philippine elections approach, senatorial candidate Bam Aquino has garnered a series of endorsements from prominent figures across both the political and entertainment sectors.

Actor Piolo Pascual joined Aquino's motorcade in Metro Manila on May 4, signifying a notable endorsement from the entertainment industry.

The following day, Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan publicly endorsed Aquino during a campaign visit to the province, emphasizing the importance of this support as Election Day draws near.

During his visit to Sulu, Aquino acknowledged the endorsement from Governor Tan, highlighting its strategic value.

In a speech delivered in Jolo, he reiterated themes central to his campaign, particularly the role of education in fostering peace and progress in Mindanao.

Aquino stated, "An important aspect of peace is education.

The future of our children and the progress of the country rely on quality education," indicating a focus on developing educational opportunities to enhance employment prospects for the youth.

In addition to Pascual, actress and television host Iza Calzado, along with fellow television personality Melai Cantiveros, have publicly shown their support for Aquino by participating in his campaign activities.

Both Calzado and Pascual attended his motorcade, which traversed various locations including Mandaluyong City and Quezon City.

Aquino's motorcade saw participation from various other celebrities and influencers, such as longtime supporter Bea Binene and social media personalities Kerwin King, Zion Aguirre, Gabe Pineda, Niño San Jose, Andrea Guevarra, Andrei Hermida, and Damien Villaflor, contributing to a robust display of support as the campaign progresses.
