Two Students Arrested for Identity Theft in Camarines Sur

Two students, identified by aliases 'Gio', 21, and 'May', 22, were arrested for allegedly committing identity theft by creating a fraudulent Facebook account used to solicit money from the relatives and friends of their victim in Barangay San Lucas, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.
The suspects were apprehended in the act while accepting a sum of 5,000 PHP sent by the victim's aunt.

The suspects now face charges under Republic Act 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, specifically for Computer-Related Identity Theft.
