Cosmobeauté Philippines 2025 Launches as a Platform for Local Beauty Enterprises

Department of Trade and Industry highlights support for Filipino MSMEs at the premier beauty trade show.
On June 4, 2025, the SMX Convention Center hosted the grand opening of Cosmobeauté Philippines 2025, a leading business-to-business (B2B) beauty trade show aimed at showcasing the Filipino beauty industry.

The event brought together an array of exhibitors, buyers, and beauty professionals to explore current trends, innovative technologies, and local products.

The opening ceremony featured remarks from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina A. Roque, who articulated the significance of opportunity, innovation, and inclusive growth within the beauty and wellness sector.

She was joined by Mr. Ivannovich Agote from the Department of Tourism and Ms. Rungphech Chitanuwat, the Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines.

Secretary Roque reaffirmed the DTI's commitment to supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

She underscored the efforts directed at promoting Filipino beauty brands globally through initiatives such as the B2B Marketplace and participation in trade fairs.

The DTI Pavilion at this year's event featured 20 selected MSMEs that illustrate the creativity and skill present in the Filipino beauty sector.

Notable brands included Pharma Galenx Innovations, Inc., Elemie Naturals, Inc. (Pili Ani), VMV Hypoallergenics, Z Lab International Corporation, and others that represent a diverse range of products and approaches to beauty and wellness.

Secretary Roque highlighted the narrative behind each brand, stating, "Each brand here tells a story, and when we support them, we support real jobs and real families across the country.

That is what 'Bagong Pilipinas' means to us—a future where growth is inclusive, and prosperity is shared."

Cosmobeauté Philippines 2025 is attracting over 200 brands and companies, with an extensive attendance expected throughout its duration until June 6, 2025. The event features activities such as live demonstrations, business matching, and knowledge-sharing sessions that aim to enhance skills and foster collaboration within the beauty industry.
