Intensity 3 was recorded in Navotas, Quezon City, Pasay City, San Juan City, Taguig City, Guiguinto, the City of Malolos in Bulacan, Palayan City in Nueva Ecija, Mabalacat City in Pampanga, Angeles City, and Biñan in Laguna.

Intensity 2 was felt in Caloocan City, Mandaluyong City, Parañaque City, Valenzuela City, Obando in Bulacan, and Cabiao in Nueva Ecija.

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) clarified that this earthquake is not connected to the West Valley Fault.

Following the earthquake, an emergency meeting was convened by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Operations (NDRRMO) Center in coordination with regional offices from the National Capital Region (NCR), Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.

It was determined that the earthquake originated from a local fault in the Sierra Madre Range.

As of the latest updates, there have been no reports of significant damage to critical infrastructure, including dams such as Ipo, Angat, Bustos, and Pantabangan, which are located in Central Luzon.

The situation in General Nakar and surrounding areas, including the Caliraya Dam, has been assessed to be safe.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and have urged the public to remain calm, stay alert, and be prepared for possible aftershocks.
